Primary Schools

If you want to check whether we are in one of the schools your son/daughter attends, please have a look at the list given below.

Save by the Bell is for young people of nursery and Primary school age. Opening an account is hassle free. You can request an application form from the school office or print out an application form from our website. You simply complete the application form and return it to either school office or post it to us directly to the address provided. You could also email us the completed application form to info.savebythebell@dundeecity.gov.uk

Once we have received the application form, we will issue a Saver's Pack to your child so they can start saving with Save by the Bell in school.

Deposits

During term time, money can be deposited every week in the saver's school. A deposit slip must be completed and signed by the sponsor (parent or guardian) along with the money. You can also deposit money at the Discovery Credit Union front office at Wellgate Centre, Dundee. If you need more deposit slips, please ask the saver to collect from the school during school collection.

Withdrawals

To withdraw money from an account, a withdrawal slip must be completed and signed by the named sponsor on the account. Please note: We cannot process the withdrawal request from anyone other than the sponsor.

Savers can submit the completed withdrawal slip and savings card in one of the following ways:

• In person: Hand in the withdrawal slip along with the savings card during the school collection.
• By email: Send a scanned copy or a photo of the completed form to info.savebythebell@dundeecity.gov.uk.
• By post: Send the withdrawal slip and savings card to: Central Library, Wellgate Centre, Dundee, DD1 1DB.

The money withdrawn will be paid by bank transfer into the sponsor's bank account within two working days after we receive the form in the office via BACS transfer. If you need the money urgently, please visit Discovery Credit Union at Central Library, Wellgate Centre, Dundee, along with your ID.

All savers are provided with withdrawal slips in their packs. If you need more withdrawal slips, please ask the saver to collect from the school during school collection or email your request to: info.savebythebell@dundeecity.gov.uk
